The world is your oyster, our globe the thing you hop. You’re at home here, there and everywhere—and Manayunk is where it all comes together. Where you and your friends come to wander in and out, graceful on heels, glamorous in glasses, and absolutely fetching in your zebra prints and tribal patterns draped smooth as a Parisian latté. Yes, this is where you belong, strolling the sidewalks with bags all a-swing, laughing and lunching outdoors clutched loosely in gauzy tapestries of tans and blacks. Where you can make plans, plot your story. Here in this neighborhood monument to another place and time, this delight, this charming Manayunk. |

“The Wall”
Settled upon steep hills, Manayunk has a long history as a hot destination for international bike champs. The best often come here to test their skills on the famous “Manayunk Wall,” a grueling 12% grade, a true test of endurance. Bike rentals are available on Main Street. Manayunk is home to the Bike Race, also known as the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling, Philadelphia International Championship in June every year.
Manyayunk Arts Festival held in June
The Manayunk Arts Festival is the area’s largest outdoor arts and crafts show. Every June, more than 300,000 people from all over flock to the streets of Manayunk to take in the handmade original arts and crafts, music and other entertainment along Main Street. Celebrating its 19th year, this juried art show will feature 275 artists from across the country. The festival is a family event, featuring special children's activities, including the annual Children's Clothesline Art Exhibit. |

Globalization meets fashion in every spring collection. Including the exotic look of an all over embroidered dress from DKNY, or Salvatore Ferragamo’s crocodile gladiator sandals. |
